Purpose
If you need to reset your authenticator app, the steps outlined in this guide will show you how to do this.
Navigating to your account settings
Navigate to your account settings by:
- Select your name in the bottom left corner of the screen
- Select 'My Account' from the settings
Resetting your 2FA
- Remove your old 2FA code from your authenticator app so you can create a new 2FA code.
- On the 'Login and Security' screen click the 'reset 2FA' button
- This will open a new window with a QR code, scan the QR code with your authenticator app to create a new entry for your Medicus 2FA code.
4. Once you've scanned the code click Next. A pop up window will open and request the 6 digit token from your authenticator app.
Enter the 6 digit token then click Verify & reset. You should now have reset your 2FA access and can use it to login to your Medicus account along with your username and password. You do not need to enter the code from your app as a recovery code.
