System Requirements

Purpose

This guide will provide information and guidance on supported devices and browsers required to use Medicus.

Supported Devices

Medicus is a web based clinical system.

There are no specific restrictions on devices that can be used with Medicus.

Any device that is capable of running a desktop web browser within the supported browser versions listed below can be used.

Some of the supported browsers impose a minimum set of requirements on end-users which are documented here:

• Google Chrome browser system requirements
• Microsoft Edge system requirements

Supported Browsers

To provide the best experience, Medicus only supports specific web browsers.

Where a web browser is not supported, access is blocked for clinical safety reasons.

Desktop Browsers

The following web browsers are supported on desktop devices:

• Google Chrome (released within last 24 months)
• Microsoft Edge (released within last 24 months)
• Apple Safari on Mac OS X only (released within last 24 months)

Mobile Browsers

The following web browsers are supported on mobile devices:

• Google Chrome (released within last 24 months)
• Apple Safari on iOS only (released within last 24 months)
