Purpose
The prescriptions audit report displays a list of all prescriptions authorised from Medicus in the last year which your organisation can utilise for various use cases, for example:
- Conducting a medications audit on a certain medication given a recent safety alert from MHRA.
- Conduct a medications audit on a certain medication given a recent recall request for that medication.
This user guide will show you how to locate and interpret the prescription audit report in Medicus.
Navigating to the prescription audit report
First, select 'Prescribing' from the modules menu from the left hand side navigation bar.
Once in the Prescribing module, select 'Prescription Audit' to be taken to the Prescription Audit Report.
Viewing the prescription audit report
The report lists all of the prescriptions authorised within the last year, ordered by the most recent start date.
This can be reordered or filtered by either date or product.
Exporting the prescription audit report
If you'd prefer to complete your analysis on the data from a CSV file you can export the audit report.
To export the report into CSV format, select the 'CSV' export link.
You can then access the report from your downloaded files.
