Purpose
There may be an instance where a patient needs to be seen on the day as a priority, but all appointment slots have been filled. Therefore, Medicus allows the possibility to override the system and 'squeeze' the patient in. This user guide will show you how to squeeze a patient in for an appointment.
Squeezing a patient in
To squeeze a patient in, select the 3 dots on the appointment diary you would like to squeeze the patient into and select 'Squeeze patient in'.
This will open up the patient finder for you to find and select the patient, before booking them into a time slot. Once booked, you'll notice an 'overlapping appointment' warning badge on the two appointments scheduled for the same time.
Note: you can only squeeze a patient in between two appointments that are already booked.
